&lt;p&gt;Have fun at the course, have fun with your patients! Join us in therapeutic play &amp;ndash; the NDT way! This interactive basic level course for OT/COTA &amp;rsquo;s, PT/PTA&amp;rsquo;s and SLP&amp;rsquo;s will emphasize treatment strategies to promote &amp;ldquo;play skills&amp;rdquo; in the child with neurological involvement while making progress part of play. Therapists will learn introductory handling techniques to optimize postural control and visual/perceptual skills while implementing their own play skills. Participants will learn how neuromotor control and influences of the sensory systems impact functional outcomes. Therapists will be challenged to facilitate creative play with the children they work with. The therapists will gain knowledge in the value and foundation of &amp;ldquo;play&amp;rdquo;, and how to have fun in therapy, regardless of the setting. This course will take you through lecture, labs, interactive discussions and problem solving sessions to spark individual creativity based on each ones&amp;rsquo; therapeutic style.&lt;/p&gt;

5.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Describe some of the evidence supporting strength training for the geriatric patient&lt;br /&gt;
6.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;List the safe doses and contraindications for strength training&lt;br /&gt;
7.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Practice using the Borg scale to approximate % of 1RM&lt;br /&gt;
